Bomb Threat Management is the training accreditation suitable for people who are required to have an understanding of bomb threats.
Our 3-hour course focuses on the key role that you can play in developing and implementing appropriately informed preparedness and response arrangements to reduce the risks posed by bomb threats.
The Bomb Threat training course focuses on key areas including:
- Procedures - Ensure dedicated procedures are in place to manage bomb threat incidents
- Training - Undertake training to respond to the threat appropriately
- Assistance - Have on hand and use the telephone bomb threat checklist
- Safety - Follow response safety precautions appropriate to the situation and seek assistance
Course Details
WorkSafe Connect’s Bomb Threat Management training offers guidelines that reflect the Australian Standards in relation to threat assessment, situation management and incident response.
By the end of the Bomb Threat Management course, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of bomb threat procedures and subsequent response management including knowledge relating to:
